i put a 1997 civic dx motor into my 1995 cx. i converted wireng harness to convert it to obd1 i drove the car for like three days already. now car will not start now but has power check engine lite also doesnt come on
can anyone help

 

well first start by checking for fuel spark and air.

 

im not getting fuel or spark car wont even turn over i think its something with the computor because check engine light isnt coming on at all

 

dead battery?

 

the lights and radio come on i even tried putting the key on and tried to push the car and pop the clutch and it still didnt start

That happened to my 92 si, I first found out that the fuel pump wasnt coming on. Then I found out that it wasnt sparking or anything, turned out being my ECU the whole time......

its your distributor.. the coils out or no good... had that happen to my 94 civic coupe too... and thats all i did was the coil
