Hello friends, i am new to the forum nice seeing everybody. I'm currently driving a 04 civic for 3 years now and i'm getting rid of it pretty soon maybe 6 more months from now. Meanwhile, i am planning to save the money and buy me a new 92-95 civic hatch. I don't have mechanic knowledge, so what would you experts out there recommend me to look for in a hatch? What is a full motor built? And what is the difference between B and D series? There are so many out there. I own a quad core built computer and i know there are many series of cpus and motherboards out there, but overclocking to a certain GHZ requires the right combination of cpus, motherboards and memory ram etc.. Same way for building a fast car. My question is, what is a great combination in a civic hatch? I want to know as much as i can before i buy the car. My goal is to reach 12 secs, so can somebody please lead me to the right way? Thanks a lot.

 

Ok.. I think i have some clues for the new built now.

LS-R motor, GSR head, and B18 transmission. Any recommendation for bottom? This will make it run 12 secs.
