ok so as some of you might know from another topic either my head or head gasket is shot in my stock as hell 94 civic dx coupe.

Alright so i was thinking that instead of getting the darned thing fixed i could maybe swap motors. I was gonna call some junkyards today but i then realized that i dont know what kind of cars have a B18 or h22 that would fit my car and also im not too sure about prices.

So apparently the mechanic says it would take him 25hours to do a swap so i was thinking of maybe doing the swap myself ( im not very mechanically inclined... i can change my oil and **** but i never really got down to the nitty gritty of it). What i would like to know is that if i'll even be able to do this myself ( i know of a few people with more experience in cars) and in whats cars i could find such engines... any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

 

If it was a straight swap it would be so much easier but since it's a upgrade to the engine alot of fabs and such will have to be done so you might want a little more experance in engine swaps.Go b18
