Okay Im new to this forum, and im also honda impaired I came from v-8 crowd and have realized the error of my ways, but I do know a good deal about engines just not honda ones yet. My Question is i just recently bought a 1993 honda civic ex, And I knew off the bat i needed more power so i went out and bought a b16a2 engine from a 200 si,
(What I have)
>Engine and 5 speed transmission
>shift linkage (2000 SI) and stock one of course
>intake manifold
>Exhaust manifold

(Things Im sure i need)
Fuel Rail
Injectors
FPR

(Things Im not to sure about)
ECU (I have a p28 ecu)
Wiring harness hasport???
Chip for the 28??

Any other things or suggestions are GREATLY appreciated
P.S. I need to get this thing running as soon as possible so i can whoop up on the former v-8 crowd

look around there are other similar posts

 

You will need the driver side upper motor mount, injectors, and you dont have to cip the p28 but if have the money to do then do it.

 

so the factory wire harness and ecu is good no wire harness?

 

yes ur factory wiring harness is fine and the ecu is fine till u either chip the ecu or find a OBD1 B series VTEC ecu. and you dont need the ECU conversion harness.

which chip should i go for I see these spoon chips on ebay and I know spoon is good but is there any other chip out there thats better??

 

Dont buy the chips off ebay!!! Go with uberdata, or just find an OBD1 Dohc ECU.
