Default tranny info needed

im swapin out my tranny and putting a 5 spd in now my trannys from a 89 civic 1.5 its a 5 spd,im putting it into a 92 civic 1.5 which originally was auto will it bolt up?would i need a 92 clutch or do i need to stay with a 89 either ways alright for me,the 89s clutch is cheaper,any infos usefull,

that won't work for your car. 89 civic tranny is a cable tranny and your 92 civic has lines for the hydraulic tranny to engage and disengage the clutch

what if i used the 89s clutch cable and setup???will the axles line up?will i need any diferent mounts?what shift linkage will i need???

what do you mean? you are asking if you can use the 89 tranny clutch and stuff in a hydro tranny?? if that is what you are asking then the answer is yes it will work in the hydro tranny. but make sure the tranny is a 89 because if it is an 88 the spline count is different on the shaft. you will neeed to get a d-series shift linkage, 88-00 will work, 92-95 civic tranny mounts, and use the axles from the 89 tranny

the 92 is neither its a auto so it has no lines run for a hydro clutch, can i retro fit my 89s tranny into it will the clutch linkage be long enough?will the mounts line up?

the 92 has no clutch lines because it's an automatic tranny, and that's what your car came with.

your shift linkage will work and all the other stuff from the 89 but bolting it up to your 92, i'm not sure. you will probably have to get a 92 civic tranny mounts, but like i said i'm not sure.
