Good luck. Haha. My install was pain in the a$$ and took a while to complete.

If you are interested, I have a set of innovative H series swap mounts for 96-00 Civics for sale that I ended up not using and going with hasports.

Let me know if you have any specific questions and I would be happy to help.

im really looking into just putting something bigger in at a reasonable cost was looking into the h23 vtec or the h22 or even the f20b vtec what are your thoughts on the situation its not that i dont like the b series engines they just to damn expensive i can get either one of these engines for under 1k and a b series looking at at least 1500 to who knows any help with finding a good setup would be greatly appreciated

H22 are extremely fun. I have a jdm H22a, completely stock with exception of an intake, exhaust manifold, and a 2.25" exhaust kit. The car made 197whp/165wtq and the exhaust is probably restricting the set-up. I plan on upping to a 2.75" at least and a 3" intake for a little more power. Hopefully, bringing me to an even 200 whp.

Anyways, I opted out of the B series since to me, most of them are pointless, especially the B16. Stock for stock, B16 only produce about 30 more hp and a whopping like 6 tq compared to the D16z6/y8.

However, a boosted B18c1 (GSR motor) wouldn't be bad, but then you have more money going into the car for the swap, then turbo.

It is really all a matter of how much power you want, if you want boost or not, and how much money you have.

You could simply boost the D series you have now for respectable power, too.

Let us know what you decide.
