Hey whats up everyone...I blew the motor in my 97 civic. I was just driving home and one of the piston connecting rods broke. im not sure if i need to replace the crank but i probably do so assuming that just the crank and the piston and the rod are bad would it be cheaper to buy the parts and replace them individually or would it be cheaper to buy a used motor? im not looking for anything great i just want to get it running again so i can drive it to work and not put a bunch of miles on my truck. what motors can i swap into a 97 civic without having to change the transmission, which i just replaced, or wiring harness or anything like that.
