the conversion harness will take care of all that. You dont need to change anything in the engine bay.
If a mechanic plugs a reader into the OBD2 port, it will show up as no communication since you are running an OBD1 ecu. Depending on the area, they may let you slide one year, but not the next. Find out exactly how they test OBD2 vehicles in your area. I hardly doubt they just look at the CEL and pass it if it is off. People could just take the bulb out of the cluster at that point.

just thought id pop in and update this....motor is finally in..axles are in...motor is wired up...clutch line is in the mail...just waiting on radiator hoses and an o2 sensor and she shpould be ready to go...oh and a slight exhaust repair..its taken so long but im 90% there
