B16 head on a D16Y8 block?
 

I bought my 98' Civic from a guy that works at an Acura dealership. Their mechanic told me he had a b16 head and cams, and all the goodies, he was goingto sell it to me for $400. Should I of bought it?

hes a mechanic and is trying to sell you a dohc head to fit on a sohc block? kick that basterd in the nuts

thats a good deal for a b16 head but the head will not fit your y8 block...

Assuming the head is not warped or god knows what else he is thinking you wont find out until its too late.....decent buy
