VTEC to Non-VTEC Engine Replacement
Hi, need some help please.
I have a '98 Civic EX 2-door with (according to the 6th digit in the VIN#) a VTEC engine. All the work I've had done on it used non-VTEC parts but anyway, I am going to replace the complete engine. Can I put a non-VTEC engine in the car ? It's a standard with A/C.
Do the two engines have the same motor mounts, etc ?
Any help would greatly be appreciated. KC

2004, add, called, civic, displacement, door, efficiency, engine, honda, manual, motor, replacement, volumetric, vtec, yes
