I bought my stuff from a local tune shop. But if you have any specific questions let me know. Just take your time and clean everything so it looks good when you get it in.

dam cause i have an auto and wana manual swap it as well but i wasnt sure if i buy the engine with the manual trany wht else i would need to go with it. cause right now i can hear and feel my trany struggling to shift from R to D4 so if i cant get the engine thn ill just manual swap it first. also would the turbo for the B18C1 work with a D series?

You'll need manual tranny mounts and shift linkage, and I might be wrong but I think you'll need a different ecu as well. And yes the turbo will swap from a b series to a d series but the manifold will not.

ok the manifold i would have guessed but thts great everything else would. the manual swap i think ill just go to a junk yard and see if they have a civic with a manual trany to get the parts from.

my opinion on a swap is get a dirt cheap d16z6 or y8 (depending on what gen car your driving) and rebuild it with new forged pistons and rods. then get the head resurfaced and a good valve job and cleaning and re assemble it, then turbo and tune it. it would cost about the same to do this than a stock b series swap, b16's are going for around 1600-2000 dollars for everything you need, then you have an engine with no torque but about 140 whp, or turbo d and 220 hp easy on stock internals with a good tune and have torque.

wht im planin on doin since i cant get money easy is manual swap it first. i think i noe some1 tht will do it dirt cheap, thn assemble a turbo kit for the d and b series thn swap in a b18c1. if u have any opinions let me know.

yeah a prelude engine is a h series and can be swapped, but i would go with a b series or a k swap if i had "deep pockets"! lol
