01 b18c1 swap on 92 civic hatch

Hi guys, I just recently purchased an 01 b18c1 and I want to swap it into my 92 civic cx hatch. I have the engine, tranny, sensors, and radiator. I dont have an ecu for it, so would I be able to use a JDM obd1 ecu and just plug all the connectors in and add the vtec wiring for the solenoid, etc or would I need to use a US ecu for the connectors to plug in. Also what else would I need if I am planning on doing this myself. I plan on purchasing an complete engine hoist from checkers which runs at 186.00 and just trash the d15y8. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

P.S.
Is this link all I would need to follow to successfully complete the swap?:

its a good link. however...

id sell the engine if i were you. IMO its too much trouble converting from OBDI to II. you might as well get an OBDI. the I is usually cheaper than the II anyway.
