Default 02 ex hose problem

First off let me say that the image is not of my civic. Anyway, my intake has worn a slit in this hose, my questions would be-

1. What is this hose for? It has oil leaking out but its not leaking very much.
2. I need to replace this hose, does it say a specific part number anywhere on the hose?
3. Since oil is leaking out of the hose, should i drain the oil before changing it?
4. I believe this slit has been worn due to heat, what can I wrap this hose in and to make sure this dosen't happen again?
5. I have found that duct tape can fix just about anything, if i were to wrap this hose in duct tape where the slit is, would it really hurt anything?

Thank you in advance for your help and advice.

pull the hose off and take it to advance or autozone and get them to match it up and replace it.
