03' EX to VTEC

Is it possible to make my car VTEC?

And... What type of intake would be best for my car? and how much do you think it'd cost

Your car has vtec? It is an EX, stock engine (D17A2)?

...

2003 Honda Civic EX, HAS a vtec. The only one that wouldn't have a vtec is a LX. And go browse through the I/H/E thread, and check some of the stickied threads, they'll help you with performance parts.

I guess it would be possible.. But it wouldn't be worth it. D17 engines arn't that great, performance-wise and arn't worth upgrading really. Thats why most 7th gen users swap into a K20a engine, that has a stock 220hp and 8000rpm, with a 6-speed transmission. Also, like I said, check the I/H/E forum and read the stickies, they will answer almost ALL of your questions.

I hope that helps :P

You have to swap the head from an EX. Not worth the money...you need a head and ECU from the EX, plus other goodies.

if you can find one at a pick and pull definatley worth it what will you pay for a cai prolly 300 for a vtec head and ecu from a pick and pull for around 400 and its 12 hp vs a cai about 3-5
