Turbo's are probably the cheapest way to gain sizeable power.Go to funky power.co.uk the stock two stages of kit one is a direct bolt on the other has a larger turbo and injectors but needs after market fuel management. They sell for 2900 pound sterling and 3100 i think,I'm driving a coupe myself but i'm considering going down the route of intake and exhaust mods,i.e. intake mani, throttle body, exhaust mani,de-cat full system and there's a crowd in the states called bisimoto that sell performance cam's.A stage two cam with all the other mods i mentioned should net me about 140+ with a dastek uni-chip and re-map.
