1991 honda crx question
I have a 1991 honda crx with i believe a d15b (im guessing really dont know all these numbers) but driving it home the day after i purchassed the car the timming belt jumped time and bent some valves in the head. My question since i have a friend that has a b16z6 head. ok will this head work on this motor if so what all will i need to finish the swap. im sure this question has been asked before but couldnt find anything about it when i searched as far as will the distributor valvecover stuff like that work.

The current engine code is stamped into the block, next to the transmission. Google search will show you where to look if anything.
The D16z6 head should fit on your motor. You would essentially be conducting a "Mini Me" head swap. There is tons of information out there for this as it is semi-common. |
will the distributor and valvecover and everything swap over.

im just looking for the easiest way to get it back up and going and since this b16z6 head is a freebie figured i would try and see if that will work.

It's definitely a D16Z6 head. A B16 head wouldn't fit. Not 100% sure about the distributor. They're both D series but one is vtec and one is non-vtec.
