yeah the carb legal thing may be an issue for some people but not for me. On a 2000 I don't believe you need to worry about a maf sensor not fitting right, I have an aem on my 01 and I think the money I spent was kinda a waste of money. My friend put an ebay intake on his 00 ex and it is every bit as good. Just be careful buying anything from ebay though, like polo said, thigs don't always work out for ya. Or you can always do what this guy did.

I say you keep it a total sleeper, make it look real smoothe with no sound, like get cold air intake, exhaust header, but no exhaust, you can add a super charger or even a turbo for more power, no body kit and tint the windows something like 20%, along with that u can get some rims 18"s so it doesnt look like the sporty ricer 17". A Sleeper is something that is looked to be normal and sound normal but will destroy when it comes to a race, not something to be heard, u have to go more on a stealth basis, so go for a more smoothe look than anything.

Turbo, performance clutch, light weight flywheel, intake, exhaust, msd ignition and wires, fuel pressure regulater and so on......

Keep the exterior simple......you'll want to tighten up your suspension too.

Sorry, but if u slap on a hi-flow intake and a header... your going to hear it. And any real racer knows the whine and whistle of forced injection.

true, but it would be much more quieter than having full catback exhaust at the end...

No matter what you do to the engine, people will know (there's no way around that). The key is keep the exterior simple.
