you're still causing problems and arguments because you think you're always correct (which is kinda ironic)
Ah, ok I didn't realize thats what he meant by I don't know. But the fact that he couldn't give a simple yes or no meant he didn't know the answer to the question, which is really all that it took. Correct?

Oh really now, so I'm the administrator that called me out? Odd. It's funny that when I take a tech board seriously, I get bitched at by someone who seems to just like to follow me around to bitch me out. That is the real irony. Get the stick out of your ***, ej6.

and hell, for being the main question in here on the title, this thread is in the wrong forum.

Don't flatter yourself. I was simply "making the rounds" posting my opinions, it was coincidence that you posted before me in most, and I corrected you.

This thread, and all the rest containing this BS, go back on topic RIGHT NOW, or they're all getting locked.

i wanna kno if my 2000 si came stock with a LSD. its USDM and i was gonna buy one if its not. and another question is i wanna get a mugen cam cover too anyone kno of a place to get one????
Only the JDM versions and ITRs came with OEM LSDs, and none of them are very good.

You've got three real choices.

Quaife - helical type - lifetime warranty and are proven to hold a ****load of power. They are however expensive, $1000-1200 for the YS1 tranny not including install if you don't know how to do it yourself.

Kaaz - clutch type - not sure on the warranty but I'm personally not a fan. I've seen them break quite a few times. Also very expensive.

OBX - helical type - no warranty, but proven to hold a ton of power. Needs to be shimmed and you need to make sure the bolts are tight, otherwise it's identical to the quaife for a third of the price. I've been using one for 7K miles with no problems, however, you're going to need to send it to someone who knows exactly what they're doing as far as install goes. Price for LSD itself is ~$400ish.

I'm still working on setting up everything, but soon I'm going to start building transmissions for people among other things.
