2001 Civic EX - Malfunction Indicator Lamp On
 

Hello folks,
I have about 145k miles in my 2001 Civic. The malfunction indicator lamp came on today. Not sure what would be the case. I dread taking it to the dealership who after a $100 diagnostic might come up with some costly maintenance suggestions.

Has anybody have a speedy and happy resolution to the indicator light issue? Hoping to hear back from you soon. Thank you.
