Thank you for reading my post in advance. I got an opportunity to buy a K20a2 engine, but the motor is an automatic. Is it possible to covert the automatic K20a2 motor to a manual? The engine currently in the 2001 Civic is a manual and the transmission when out. I can't got over 40 mph when driving on the road. So my crazy idea was just to swap out the motor and have fun with it. Any suggestion what's going with my current transmission and also, is it possible to do the conversion? Transmissions are pricey and engine is fairly affordable for the complete motor. What you guys think? Any positive suggestions?
