350-400 hp Is It Possible?
over 300 I'll agree with you, but I believe it's achievable with a fully built N/A engine running higher comp. and some N2O. Hell I'm looking for 200 (at the crank so like 175ish at the wheels) N/A no N2O when I'm done with it.
Funny you should mention that I already got exhaust done at a custom muffler shop and based it around huge amounts of boost and they said it will work great with it. I am also going there for the custom downpipe next I guess im hooked up in that section lol.
I dont know how possible it would be without n20 and a turbo on a SOHC. I have seen a crv engine in a 95 hatch that was NA over 300 hp. but thats stilll a swap. It would be a lot more logical to do an engine swap, because NOS and running heavy psi will put a huge strain on that engine and you'll end up having to do a swap anyway..
a NA B20 pushin out 300 that is a lot of hp over the stock 120 or 130hp the amoun of money he spent on that B20 i am 95% sure he could have got a CTR or ITR or a LS engine with some mods and be making more power than that better than that he could have even got a RSX engine
B20 wont pass emission. Only swap emission legal is K20 or K24 excluding Z series, the swap itself would cost upwards of 6-8 grand depending on labor. For that much he could definately make a D17 reach 300 whp safely.
