93' LX cam

someone told me that a good engine upgrade that isn't to pricy is upgrading my cam. now i wanna know if this is a good idea or bad, and if it will even do anything for my car.
thanks any help is fantastic.

There are no off the shelf cams for your engine. You can swap to a 92-95 ex/si head and have off the shelf cams available or you can buy a stock cam from a junkyard and send it to a place that does custom regrinds like exispeed or delta. It is a good upgrade but I would start researching a mini me swap(92-95 ex/si head swap) before anything.

really anything internaly is gonna get pricy i would think the best bang for the buck would be a ex/si tranny with a new clutch but thats just my .02
