Default 93 swap

my civic im getting has a 94 ex engine thrown in it..the kid doesnt know what type..soo im guessin like a b16a?

but anyway..what i wanna do when i get it is take what i can out of this swap..and put a new tranny and engine in it...cause the tranny slips when its cold...i wanna swap it to a manual..is that hard? and what would be the best engine to put in it? i really would like an engine i could boost.....

or do u all suggest just getting a better tranny for 400 off ebay and then doing something to the engine thats in it?

first off the swap is not that hard its just Timely also if it is a b series leave it in but I dont know of any stock 94 ex that has a b series in it D16z6 maybe, and that a good one to keep in it.
