94 Civic Lx
I'd like a hp increase for cheap. A.E. under 1 grand. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Please? Lol.

RE: 94 Civic Lx
nitrous oxide system for under $600 will give you temporary boosts in HP. You have to use high-octance fuel or run into knocking issues.
I would recommend improving the suspension or brakes if you can't afford a super-charger or turbo-charger. |
RE: 94 Civic Lx
how big of an increase?
|
Powa!
I don't want Nos, it causes serious engine probs. You can't get turbos for under 1,000? I was thinking CAI Performance plugs and Wires, and maybe a turbo. I don't really like loud exhaust though.

RE: Powa!
Do a mini-me swap. Best bang for the buck on an lx

RE: Powa!
What exactly is a mini-me swap? I've heard of them, but I don't know what they are or what they do.

RE: Powa!
Save some money then upgrade your car... its better that way. In the mean time if you need to spend cash get an intake, header, exhaust.

RE: Powa!
NOS doesnt harm your engine if you do it right. no more than a turbo does.
IHE is hella expensive for the small gains. he'd be better off boosting. mini-me is taking the head off of a VTEC engine and putting it on a non-VTEC block. |
RE: Powa!
Interesting... That would put you about about 20-25 hp more... I'm guessing, since a Lx has like 105 and a V-tec I think has like 127. Would I see much differecne? Is it worth it?
