Adding vetec on a non vtec car??
 

Ok i have a 99 civic ex non vtec and i want to make it vtec! Can someone tell me what all i have to have to do this and how to go about doing this?? Thanks!!

Look up mini me swap. Thats what I did and I like it so far.

A mini-me swap is putting a y8 head on. Google it, should be a ton of stuff.

um ex's should be v-tec man, has somebody done a motor swap to your car before you baught it?

umm yes it had a brand new engine put in it right before i bought it and its a D16Y8 is this vtec? I dont know **** about hondas as u can see??

yes d16y8 is vtec.

Ok thanks man, vtec kicks in at a certain rpm correct??
