Default advice?

I got almost $6,000 right now, and am looking to get maybe a eg shell. I was wondering what you guys would think would be the best motor to drop in with the $ i got. I was thinking maybe a b18c (ITR)

are you saying you have 6K for the shell and motor?
How much do you have for just a motor?

I'd say either a B18c or a B16a2

imo if ur staying n/a then go B18C5 (itr) if you got the cash or LS vtec w/ some high comp pistons and shotpeened rods (a friend of mine has this setup in his eg hatch and it pulls nice). if ur going FI then you could go B18C or B16A. it all depends on your horsepower goals and cash.

Build a D to hold 20psi. That would be sweet.

see.. i am not sure.. i could go n/a or turbo... I just want to hit atleast in the 12's when i am done, 11's would be fun. and i have $6,000 for shell and motor... I am working this business with one of my friends rite now tho, swapping, fixing, and selling civics, I'll be making about $2000 profit off of each car...and about,1 car every month or so. so i guess if that helps to let you guys know that the money isnt really the issue.. i guess i just wanna know what you guys think would be best. thanks.

I say a K20 if cost isn't a problem... those things are amazing engines.

you'd be spending around 7K for a K swap.

h22 all motor. you can do that swap for around 2-4K give or take some if you have fabrication skills and eletrical skills.

the easiest way would be a simple boosted bseries swap. or even an all motor CRVtec swap. its simple and fun
