AEM Cam Gear

So I just bought one of these and put it on my car tonight, and for some reason now my car won't start up. It's a 92 Civic, D15B7 engine, and I checked the timing, and set it all. My only guess is that is's the gear itself.

Any tips on how to fix it?

Found my problem.

My stock gear has 38 teeth and this new gear has 40 teeth, luckly I didn't hit a valve.

That doesn't really relate to your situation though. Another reason for that, is because they don't know how forums operate, and are still learning how to search, just like i did, and everyone else had to.

ouch, you must have gotten the d16z6 cam gear

at least you actually have a cam. I can't stand when people with a stock cam ask about adjustable cam gears.
