so i think an h22a is what i will go with by the summer it should be in there hopefully so ill need new mounts and axles? oh and which tranny and whats this h2b sorry im new to this and how much would this realalisticly cost like 4 grand for everything?

^ Okay, you have a few questions, so I'll try to answer them all..

-You'll need custom (swap) mounts, since you can't re-use any of the stock mounts. You'll also need custom (swap) axles (or a combination of integra axles), since the h-series ones will not work on a civic.

-The h22's stock transmission is fine, some people just feel it's gearing leaves a lot to be desired.

-an h2b is a swap conversion where an h-series longblock is used with a b-series transmission. It means you don't need custom mounts (well, the actual engine mount must be a swap mount, but it'll only cost $100 or so), nor do you need to use custom axles or a cable shifter. Also, you have a wide variety of transmissions to choose from. However, you'll need spacers in the back of your hood for an h2b to fit, and they're expensive.

And realistically, for a standard h22 swap in an eg/ek, $4000 is a safe number. I'm not sure on the total price of an h2b.
