Aluminum engine factory paint finish
 

Hi folks
I'm rebuilding an engine. My main question is how do you restore the aluminum cylinder head and the intake manifoldto factory aluminum finish? I recently bought a Honda reconditioned starter and the aluminum body was painted like it was rolled out of the factory brand new. Butit looked more like bare aluminum metal than thick enamel painted over, rather just clean matted natural silver aluminumlooks. Do Honda factoryspray paint the aluminum or dip the aluminum engine blockin the special bath tank? How can I get that same kind of paint?
