Default another newbie question

has anybody heard of a belt driven supercharger? my buddy said he can pick one up for me for about $700, we'll pull out the a/c and slap in the supercharger. So basically, are these any good and what, at bare minimun, should i have done before putting it in so i dont kill my car?

well he says this one doesnt go on the manifold. it runs off of another belt, he was saying pull the a/c and save the weight and not have the power loss that the a/c has, which i wouldnt mind....a/c or supercharge? easy question. i know i can keep the a/c but thats what a windows for.

no supercharger goes on the manifold on a honda. it either replaces it or sits on the side of the engine bay.

Your Honda isn not a V8 muscle car, the supercharger will not go on the intake manifold. Take a look at the intake mainfold today and tell me where exactly they would put a supercharger? The V6 superchagers install in place of the intake manifold and the I-4 Supercharger usually hangs off the engine and you run a tube to TB. What company is the supercharger? If it isn't a reputable company i wouldn't go with it.

okay, its a belt driven centrifugal supercharger. my buddy thinks its greddy. and he said he can get it actually for only $400 not $700 like he originally said but it makes me wonder if it really is greddy. i'll keep posted.
