I was in a rush today moring and I floored my car for like 30 miles strate not slowing down. I have a D16Y7 engine, I was wondering
if my engine could be push like that? or is there going to be some problem with my engine if i do that too much.

Yes and no, depends on the condition of the engine.

Your engine can be run at high RPMs steadily for an extended period of time if the engine is in good condition. There should be no problems unless the oil's viscosity starts breaking down or the temperature of the engine exceeds the normal range.

I dont think that it would be that bad really. Considering its potential power is majorly crimped from the factory. The Y7 in my opinion can take the beating and can handle a lot more in most situations.

my point was, an engine pushed hard everyday, will not last as long as one driven the same mileage at normal rpms.. the harder you work it, the more wear there will be.. oncein a while. should make no difference
