Are any upgraded cams legal?
 

Ugh....I know I know....I feel like I am making too many new threads....but someone has to...

I was looking at new cams....Skunk2 cams specifically. I looked at the install instructions for all 4 models for my car(2004 Civic Si), and it said that the cams weren't emissions legal. In doing a quick search I found nothing about this. Does anyone make emissions safe cams?

technically any modifications aren't legal. but as long as you put in the new cams and pass emissions, they arent going to tear apart your head to look at your cams.

I am worried that i will make the investment in buying cams, and everything else involved, and then my car wont pass emissions. I plan on doing it "the right way" and getting the whole setup, and then getting my car tuned afterwards, is there any way that i can be more likely to pass emissions?
