is this kit worth it? really needed, especially under boost

 

if your boostin, it might not be a must, but its a great safeguard. Your pretty much saving yourself a blown HG. I got my set for $110 and it was worth every penny

 

sorry to piggy back, but... i have a single cam vtec and im tired of every time i have to take the head off i need to replace to head bolts with hondas freaking $150 torque to yeild head bolt set! will the head stud kit work for my car?

Why do you take the head off so much?? Even with ARP's I wouldnt RE-use them more than once

 

ive had to build the motor twice and rebuild the head once. so you cant reuse the stud kit?????

i used the b20 vtec and now i have 2 choise
1. arp head studs
2. type R head bolt

which one is good...??

 

i got a set of ARP head studs and i used them in my LS/Vtec build with B16 internals, and when i tore off the head to fix a leaking head gasket, it stripped out the threads on the #2 head stud that you torque down. I was VERY dissatified with my experience with them!
