i wouldn't really trust stuff from ebay unless they are marked in a way you can tell that it is by that company. Because anyone can goto a local store and by some studs and sell them on ebay for more than there worth and a couple months doewn the road ur kind of screwed because your engine is now not producing any boost cause you had bought an ebay stud.

ive boosted 14psi with a 14b on a stock d16y7 and never had issues with the head lifting. arp are cheap insurance though. im currently a dohc zc with a jrsc at 5.5 psi and have no problems.

I recommend head studs for anyone running boost...

You guys are lucky they're so cheap for your engine. The head studs that I installed in the cummins I had were $450.

you should be ok as long as your head has never been removed(as long as your stock head bolts have not been re-used)

as long as you're on ebay and they have good feedback you should be able to trust them.

this is why they have a feedback system. Guys who do the things you talk about have already been singled out by now.
