ARP Headstuds.

Ok. Im going to order some ARP headstuds so i can prevent my headgasket and oem studs from breaking under the "lifting" if the D16 when its boosted. How hard are these things going to be to install? Ive never take then top part of the motor apart. Is this a possible DIY?

You might wanna replace your head gasket while you're at it. The new head studs are quite easy to install, just make sure you torque them properly and in the correct order.

you WILL want to replace your headgasket. you really shouldnt reuse an MLS headgasket. but they should come with some sort of instructions. you torque the studs into the block with the head off, then slide it on over them, then put the nuts down on the top.
