When I see D16, D18, etc.... what does it mean and how do I find out what I have???? I dont know and thats why I am asking.... I dont like to be ignorant.... thanx

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

The "D" series motors are Single OverHead Cam and the "B" series are DOHC. The 16 and the 18 designate the size I am assuming. 16=1.6 Liters, and so on.

Your engine designation should be stamped on a little flat spot on the block just to the left of the exhaust manifold and look something like this:
