Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
The "D" series motors are Single OverHead Cam and the "B" series are DOHC. The 16 and the 18 designate the size I am assuming. 16=1.6 Liters, and so on.
Your engine designation should be stamped on a little flat spot on the block just to the left of the exhaust manifold and look something like this:
