What does any1 recomend? I want 2 no which engine is quickest afta boosting it? Iv heard the B16a is better to boost than the b18c, but wat about the b16b??

you have to know how much psi you're boosting and how big the turbo is. All 3 of those motors could make exactly the same amount of power if you adjusted the PSI to make them all make the same power.

b16b would be worse to boost because of higher compression.
b16a is an overrated engine and it's not really better to boost.
b18c has a better flowing head and has the most potential, but is more commonly used for N/A

depends which b18c he is talking about but the added displacement of the 1.8 will help the b16b is more of an NA engine for the real jdm car style and the b16a is great for boost as well, you ought to think about prices first b18c1 is a little more than the b16a and the b16b is double the price of a b16a. I would actually consider the ls as a good cheap alternative which is great with boost as well. It all depends on what kind of power you want and where you want that power to be.

b18c all the way baby!!!

I'm trying to make a similar choice. For me, b18c is too expensive. Some of the guys almost have me talked into a b20b just because they're cheap. b16a is really overrated.

If you just want speed, anything can be built to be fast depending on your budget, even a D series.

i say boost an ls/vtec.
