B16A SiR II engine swap..
Hi I'm going to be ordering a B16A SiR II engine for my 94 honda civic Si Coupe. I recently had the D16Z engine in it and want to do a swap. I'm getting the engine, mounts, ECU, harness, axles and automatic transmission.. I think thats pretty much all I need. I have heard there is a plug and play harness I can get which will make the wiring really easy. Does anyone know where I can buy this harness for an automatic transmission?? I'm having a hard time trying to locate one. Many Thanks

RE: B16A SiR II engine swap..
Why are you getting an auto trany? Go 5 speed, I did. Its the way to do it. Did you look into the GSR engine? The B16 does not have much more TQ than your Z6. Its very close.

RE: B16A SiR II engine swap..
I would like to change it to a 5 spd but it would probably b a lot of work and more money. I'm not going to be keeping this car for much longer just wanted to get a higher HP engine than my Z16. Anyone got any info on a plug and play harness???? Thanks

or any info where I can find out how to wire it??

RE: B16A SiR II engine swap..
If you don't intend to keep the car for long, why swap? The value of the car will likely decrease after an engine swap unless you put in another d16...

I got water in my engine thats why I need a new one.

RE: B16A SiR II engine swap..
So get another D16Z6 longblock. You already have the tranny, and you wont have to re-wire anything. D series are cheapppppp!
