B18 manifold and throttle body

I've been cheking around on the net, and from what I've gathered, "they" say that you can put a b18 intake manifold and throttle body on a d series civic. If that is true, what year b18 is optimal? also are there any problem with sensors or hoses? This seems to be a very unexpensive way to make you inatke manifold and throttle body larger and not have to pay skunk2 or edelbrock prices for the same size TB or IM. Anyone know if it does bolt right up?

not the b18 manifold, but the TB is a big improvement. port match the manifold to the tb. also, what year and model is your civ? if its not 96-00 ex, then get the manifold off of one and use that. it is considered the type r manifold of the d-series.

i think any newer than 90, ls or whatever. i think gsr is slightly bigger, though you may want to google that to make sure.
