RE: b18b1 stroker
I stroked my B18... all I got was dirt on my hand.
But on a more serious note, I'd say take that money and save for a turbo kit. You've got a damn fine stock FI motor there. |
RE: b18b1 stroker
would you say that on stroking any b series? or just this specific one? cuz im looking at getting a stroker b18c1

RE: b18b1 stroker
its really not worth the money IMO. you can get as much or more power out of it with a turbo, or if youre gonna stroke it, just go all out and do a full sleeved and forged build.

IMO = In My Opinion

RE: b18b1 stroker
thank you guys for your opinions. what i'm tryin to do is build an all motor platform and i didnt know if it would be worth the money to stroke it.

RE: b18b1 stroker
Well, if your going to go all motor, then do it up right like they said above. Sleeved, forged, PnP...etc.

RE: b18b1 stroker
well see...i dont plan on keeping my civcic a street car. i want to do all the modding in the summer after i graduate highschool...or perhaps over that year (i dont plan on going to college right away). but i would really like to get a b18c1, stroke it (crower with AEBS sleeves), low compression pistons, then do a bunch of head work and turbo it. but thats not for a few years yet. have to save for it in the meantime (i almost have enough for the swap).
