Default b18b1 stroker

i was thinkin about strokin my b18b1 with a kit from crower..... do u guys think that it would b wirth the money to stroke it and if i did do it what horsepower gain can i expect

I stroked my B18... all I got was dirt on my hand.

But on a more serious note, I'd say take that money and save for a turbo kit. You've got a damn fine stock FI motor there.

its really not worth the money IMO. you can get as much or more power out of it with a turbo, or if youre gonna stroke it, just go all out and do a full sleeved and forged build.

thank you guys for your opinions. what i'm tryin to do is build an all motor platform and i didnt know if it would be worth the money to stroke it.

Well, if your going to go all motor, then do it up right like they said above. Sleeved, forged, PnP...etc.

well see...i dont plan on keeping my civcic a street car. i want to do all the modding in the summer after i graduate highschool...or perhaps over that year (i dont plan on going to college right away). but i would really like to get a b18c1, stroke it (crower with AEBS sleeves), low compression pistons, then do a bunch of head work and turbo it. but thats not for a few years yet. have to save for it in the meantime (i almost have enough for the swap).
