Default Beefing up a D172A engine

So, my question is, what do I need in order to make Civic faster? I have bolt ons such as magna flow high flow cat and cat back exhaust, dc header, custom test pipe. I'm just finishing putting in a Crowler camshaft, a throttle body spacer. I heard the cam gear for the D17 engine was a waste. I'm looking into a fuel pump, rails, and injectors next, but what else can I do to my car before I put in a turbo?

Any suggestions for anything else if I choose not to go turbo, only because my wallet won't let me ATM >.<

I would just wait. That engine, or pretty much any D-series, is a waste for N/A without spending a lot of money like you would for turbo.

yea just buy pieces little by little for the turbo set up until you have everything, the money you have spent already on all that stuff could have been a great start.

Well I wouldn't do that (engine swap)... It would cost as much as, if not more than, a turbo setup, seeing as your only option is a K-series swap.

You really just need to try not to rush things. If you don't got the money, you don't got the money. Piece together a kit slowly like 94civichatchback said. That's what I'm doing. It's been almost a year, but i'm finally almost done. I have pretty much all the turbo parts, just need a new clutch, some head work done, and a new transmission... and really, all that is just my own options considering none of that is really required besides turbo setup and a better clutch.
