Best Engine For F.I.
I'm sure this question has been gone over but I didnt find any search results...
Best engine or set-up for F.I. ?? I heard something about a b20 block and b16b head or something? Than theres another B engine with low comp that people love for boost. Anyway, your info is appreciated. |
RE: Best Engine For F.I.
The best stock engine for FI is goin to be the one with the lowest compression..........all honda engines are great for boost considering a good tune/forged internals or both.

ORIGINAL: ProjectH Best engine or set-up for F.I. ?? As far as stock motors, the one that tends to make the most power is the LS block with a b16 head. But from what I hear, it's an absolute bitch to tune correctly |
RE: Best Engine For F.I.
you're gonna have to reinforce just about any engine you use with a turbo unless it has low boost.
use the b-series and save some dough... |
RE: Best Engine For F.I.
K series are running up around 500 to 530whp on stock blocks

RE: Best Engine For F.I.
Depends on your power goal. If you need more than 500, B18C1 or H22 is best imo. Anything below that I'd use a D.

RE: Best Engine For F.I.
i wouldnt go with the D unless you are staying below 300-350 hp.

from what i here if u going with a obd1 ecu wich ive learned is the best to mod the b18a1 wich is the ls engine or the zc engine are the 2 best for turbo bc of the compression also the h23a wich is the honda prelude si engine. also i have heard is better to turbo a non v tech engine for what ever reason im not sure but that just what ive heard these are all non v tech engines and all low compression so they are good ones to use.

ORIGINAL: Marty K series are running up around 500 to 530whp on stock blocks That would be nuts... for that much power do you have any idea of a $$$ amount for that kind of build? |
