Guys don't kill me, but I am new to Hondas and I want to make mine run better. What head is the best one to buy, and what cam upgrade is the best that will give it a little lopey sound?. I just bought my car Wed. and it is a 93 coupe with a zc motor swap. I know nothing about the car. I was told ithas and ex tranny from a vtec car but how do I tell? Is there anyone from around Wilmington or Dayton Ohio area that can help me?.Thanks.

 

is it the sohc zc or the dohc zc? If its the single go with a d16z6 head and a crower stage 2 or skunk2 stage 2 cam, it will give you more N/A power and a loppy idle like you want

your gonna have to swap a whole vtec head onto your block and run wires so the vtec works.

 

How hard is the swap, and how much gain will be seen?.

 

The swaps about a 6-10 if you have basic car knowledge and a manuel. just search around on honda-tech for "z6 mini me" and it will give a bunch of different threads on how people did there mini-mes with detailed pics and what not You will probably gain 15-20hp
