Best Oil
 

I have a 99 civic dx automatic( i know i know) and i'm about to change my oil in the next few days. What do you guy recommend oil wise for my car?

Royal purple synthetic is uber good. However, I have to use Mobile 1 15w50 because of what I am running. I havent seen royal purple in that yet. If it exists, let me know.

i got a 95 cx with a jdm b16 i used royal purple i didnt like it so i switched to vr1 20w50 my vtec has hit harder than ever wit vr1!

From what I've been told, Royal Purple is overpriced, and overrated. Its a good oil, don't get me wrong, but it's not the fantastic wonder juice everyone makes it out to be.

royal purple was good until it shot up to like 6.75 a quart. its not that much better than anything else.

Mobil 1 Full Synthetic.

I use mobil 1 synthetic also... 15w50 baby! Lol

10w30 mobil 1 fully synthetic. ran royal purple was good but then i switched to mobil one and it has way out performed royal purple

damn turbo'd cars use weird viscositys

im on 10w30 mobil 1 full syn as well...was on the civic too.

I haven't tried Royal Purple
This my first time with full syn on the Y8 engine and I love it.
It's smoother and sounds great in high rpm's compared to conventional oil
