Better Preformance with wires + plugs eh

So I've been reading on a couple small performace helpers and I've seen a couple people state that some new or upgraded wires and plugs could create a little better performance and of course gas mileage. Is this true, if so would it be noticable? I'm in the dark on wires and plugs. I'm stupid. :(

I don't know how noticable the change will be because I don't have upgraded wires or plugs, but from what I've heard the more performance parts that are already on your car, the more you can feel the difference. For example, a stock civic would barely feel any difference, and a with a nice turbo setup running like 15 psi would feel a much larger difference. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong though.

For the most part you're right. It is definitely an improvement (sometimes it even helps your gas mileage), but it will be more noticeable if you have a built engine. However, installing plugs and wires on something with a little more... oomph (like a 2G GSX or 300ZX TT) is quite a bit more noticeable.

new wires will only make power if the old ones are losing it. ive seen civics lose power with aftermarket wires. or if you are running FI or have raised the compression a lot.
