Anyone have any experience with these? Im building to about 275 whp, which isnt off the page, but i figure the more stability the better.

not nessisary, just get a nice hone or .020 overbore and your sleeves will handle that just fine. if you want a block gaurd some people say good and some say bad. i just think they cause hotspots at the top of the cylinder from lack of cooling

Ive got a block gaurd. Its a nice alternative to sleeving. I think for the money, it is very worth it.

ive heard of hotspots occuring with a block guard but like riceburner700 said, a .20 over bore with a block guard works good.

i built a b16a with .20 over JE SRP pistons on Eagle rods and a mild ported GSR head and at 20 psi it loves it, alot more torque over a standard b16. we're goin to run it up to about 25-30 psi on a SC 60-1 in a 92 civic hatch. should be pretty righteous. and another car around here's doin pretty much the same setup. i'll make a video if you want to, there's one on street fire that i made and in the vid both cars had less mods then now. so it'll be cool when i come out with a part 2 version of my first vid.

Block guards do make hot spots in the cylinder where coolant can't reach, which even if you can't hear it, increases detonation. Over time this leads to cylinder wall failure, actually accelerating the wear that they are advertised to retard.

Sleeve it or leave it stock.
