Boost Levels on a D15
All,
Anyone know how much boost a D15B7 can hold safely with supporting mods and a good tune? Thank you. V/R, Steven |
RE: Boost Levels on a D15
8 psi from what i've heard i think over 10 is just going to blow up.

RE: Boost Levels on a D15
ok so if i tune to 7-8 psi with everything else as it should be to support the boost then i should have a good reliable driver. thanks for your response.

6-7 is a safe bet. Get good engine management like uberdata or hondata and get a good tune.........then u could go to about 8 PSI. Remember thou........the higher the PSI the more u risk it.

RE: Boost Levels on a D15
yes, i am looking at using the hondata S100 w/boost. can i use my stock MAP sensor with this? and what does resocketed mean?
thanks. v/r, steven |
RE: Boost Levels on a D15
Dont go with hondata, go with uberdata. Its almost the same thing, and its basicaly FREE>! There are most tuning shops that will cut u a really nice deal for uberdata. For about 500 bucks Theyll socket your P28, give u a tune and a few Dyno runs. Then after that tune breaks in, you can go to http://uberdata.pgmfi.org/forum/ and download some "Tunes" which are basically fuel maps, onto a lap top and update the cars ECU for NADA. Currently im running greddy bluebox on my turbo soch, but uberdata will be coming very very soon.
