Boost Levels on a D15

All,

Anyone know how much boost a D15B7 can hold safely with supporting mods and a good tune? Thank you.

Steven

ok so if i tune to 7-8 psi with everything else as it should be to support the boost then i should have a good reliable driver. thanks for your response.

6-7 is a safe bet. Get good engine management like uberdata or hondata and get a good tune.........then u could go to about 8 PSI. Remember thou........the higher the PSI the more u risk it.

Dont go with hondata, go with uberdata. Its almost the same thing, and its basicaly FREE>! There are most tuning shops that will cut u a really nice deal for uberdata. For about 500 bucks Theyll socket your P28, give u a tune and a few Dyno runs. Then after that tune breaks in, you can go to http://uberdata.pgmfi.org/forum/ and download some "Tunes" which are basically fuel maps, onto a lap top and update the cars ECU for NADA. Currently im running greddy bluebox on my turbo soch, but uberdata will be coming very very soon.

what kind of injectors should i use? i am going to use an AEM fuel rail for the D15 but i need a recommedation on injector size and manufacturer. i will be using a BBK 65 mm TB.
