bucks when accelerating and stalls when stopped

bucks when accelerating and stalls when stopped
I just had my cat converter replaced. and i drove it for the first time and after 2 hours of driving it started to buck when i would accelerate in the highway. Then, when I got off the highway and came to a complete stop, it died. What could be wrong with it?
